Miss Andrea has been in ballroom dance for more than three years, and she’s on a mission to get more men on the dance floor. One of her goals is to “help them become great leads. Men don’t realize how sexy it is. The guys who can dance are the guys who get the girls.” Her favorite part of the dance business is seeing how it changes people. “Some people walk in with very little confidence in themselves. After a few lessons, they stand straighter, walk taller and find new meaning in their lives.”

If this were a yearbook, Miss Lisa would be voted Miss Congeniality. She’s been in ballroom dancing for several years and students love dancing with her. She's the reigning Ohio Regional Open American Rhythm Champion and looks fabulous on the dance floor.  We call her our party animal because she plans the best parties for our students. She thinks she cracks the whip, but she just cracks us up. “I’ve never met a dance I don’t like,” she says. “And I love introducing students to dances they’ve never tried. I tell them it’s just like broccoli: You’ve got to try each dance twice before you decide you don’t like it.”

Miss Rebecca has an extensive background in ballet, which she began studying as a child. From there, she branched out into ballroom dance and has become a top instructor. She’s terrific with both beginner and advanced students – and look out, because she’s been known to fling herself on the floor when her students perform well. (We find her down there a lot.) “I love having fun with the students, and showing them just how rewarding ballroom dancing can be. We have a great time – and they walk away feeling great about themselves!”

Matt Moore is our senior male dance instructor with six years at Fred Astaire.  He first learned to dance at the USO while serving in the Marine Corp.  Students love dancing with him, and he's trained many winning competitors.  He specializes in dancesport, and recently took first place in a Fred Astaire Ohio Regional Competition. Matt has won numerous awards in the Fred Astaire organization, including Top Teacher in Ohio. Students fight over him...take a lesson and you'll see why!

Raymond N. Cedeño           Photo Coming Soon

Raymond N. Cedeño brings all the passion and style of his native Puerto Rico to his dancing.  He took first place in Cleveland's 2006 Viva La Salsa competition and has performed in the dance company Ritmo Y Raza. Raymond lives to perform -- ask him about his year as Aladdin at Walt Disney World!  From ballroom to hip hop, salsa to folklorico, Raymond does it all.  His top priority is getting students to love dancing as much as he does -- and it shows!

Katie Bronshteyn is our Russian firecracker.  Her energy fires up the studio -- and her students. Katie has been dancing since childhood in Russia and joined our studio this year. She and Matt recently took first place in their division of the Fred Astaire Ohio Regional Competition, and Katie looks forward to more competitions.  She's terrific at bringing out the best in her students, especially the newest ones.
